July was the biggest Peer Rope Sydney we’ve held to date. We had around 40 people attend over the course of the afternoon, and they all brought with them a fabulous energy.

So many new faces and the gorgeous regulars helped make this event just brilliant. We had the Kink Life Art group share the space with us for the first time (and hopefully not the last) hosted by the wonderful Aleni whose models were intensely sketched by the participants in the life art circle. This brought a great, new flavour to the event which was brilliant.

Aside from that we had the usual fun, just on a larger scale. Hebari and -zero were busy teaching so many newbies basic ties, took a break for some ballet on a ballet bar, we saw successful attempts at first time, self suspensions, some western bondage was happening (of which we hope to see much more at future events) and as usual there was general suspension fun (with Spankalishous stealing the limelight whilst suspended by one leg). It was a glorious day with a beautiful view and the sound of chatting, laughter and learning (as well as the delicious giggles and screams of Spankalishous whilst being suspended from one leg).
